Fulvic acid has a dramatically smaller molecular weight, which allows it to penetrate cell membranes directly and transport nutrients inside plants and into plant tissue. They work together as a system: humic builds the environment, fulvic delivers the nutrients once the environment is healthy.

Heat processing destroys the functional molecular groups that make humic and fulvic acids work as delivery systems. The free radical structures, quinone functional groups, and pH-adaptive properties that give these molecules their biological activity are heat-sensitive. Cold-water extraction is the only method that preserves these structures intact. Yes. Cannabis is one of the highest-performing applications for humic and fulvic acid biostimulants.
